Evaluation of Drug and Substance Checking Legislation

We want to find how drug checking services impact and reduce harm in Aotearoa New Zealand.

This research aims to:

• Ensure better services for all New Zealanders who use drugs. 

• Improve equity, access, and outcomes of drug checking services. 

• Improve legislation to support drug checking services and harm reduction.

We want to hear from tākata whaikaha, D/deaf and disabled people about their experiences with drug checking services in Aotearoa New Zealand.

We will interview tākata whaikaha, D/deaf and disabled people who use drugs and want to share their opinions about drug checking services.

This part of the research will be conducted by disability inclusive and disabled researchers from the Donald Beasley Institute.
