Research Launch: Centering Wāhine Whaikaha, D/deaf and Disabled Women's Voice
This DBI research project is the first of its kind, where the experiences of wāhine whaikaha, D/deaf and disabled women, have been brought together with kaimahi from kaupapa Māori and mainstream family and sexual violence response sectors to explore how a twin track response might be operationalised in Aotearoa New Zealand. This research is presented by the DBI research team, funded by the Health Research Council of New Zealand and is hosted by Whāriki o te Ara Oranga.

Learning from the Royal Commission of Inquiry and Research with People with a Learning Disability
The webinar is based on Tell Me About You project conducted by DBI to ensure people with a learning disability could tell their own stories about State care. The Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care accepted the research findings as evidence of the abuse experienced by people with learning disability.
