The social experiences of students with disabilities at school was recently written by our own Dr Jude MacArthur and her colleague Mike Gaffney, a researcher and project manager at the Children's Issues Centre at the University of Otago. The book was published by NZCER and copies can be ordered directly from them.

Publications by Dr Anne Bray (29 October 1944 - 18 June 2008)

Anne Bray began her teaching career as a teaching fellow at Canterbury University in 1974 before being appointed to the position of lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the University of Otago. In 1984 Anne was appointed as Assistant Director of the New Zealand Institute of Mental Retardation (now the Donald Beasley Institute) before being appointed Director in 1986. It is not possible to overestimate the extent to which Anne has influenced and impacted on disability policy, disability practice, or disability research in this country during her career.
