Biography for Krissy Wright

Krissy has been the Information Officer and Librarian at the Donald Beasley Institute since 1994.

As a parent of a child with Down Syndrome Krissy brings to her role both a personal and a professional perspective. She recognizes information sharing as an important way of empowering and supporting families who have a child with disabilities.

Krissy's other roles include IT support to the staff at the Donald Beasley Institute, and transcribing of research interviews. Krissy also presents at local tertiary institutions on the experience of parenting a child with a disability, when requested.
